Rescue Engine 7 went on the scene minutes later to find a 1 story single family dwelling with heavy fire showing from all four sides, starting a defensive attack. Tanker 7 arrived and established the water supply. Chief 1 was the first arriving chief and established the "Bethel Church Command" on side Alpha. Engine 1 arrived next and advanced a back up line. After the bulk of the fire was knocked down crews moved inside to mop up. Crews worked well into the the night overhauling the structure. Good job to all. E-7 went out the door, E-1 went on the scene with a two story single family with fire showing from the second floor. E-7 arrived 2nd due and got the second line in the house, crews got the fire knocked down in about 10 minutes. Co.1 and Co.7 units worked on the scene for about 2 hours. Tanker 7 was alerted, E-9 went on the scene with a large 2 story single family with heavy fire. Tanker 7 was first arriving tanker, units worked well in to the night to bring the fire under control. Engine 1 went on the scene with a 3 story row house with smoke showing from the 3 floor. RE-7 arrived 2nd due and advanced the 400ft hand line to side Charlie, Engine 1 found a room off on the 3rd floor. Crews remand on the scene for about an hour. Engine 7 went out the door with 4 volunteers, Engine 1 went on the scene with a 2 story single family resident, with fire showing on both floors. Due to the 25mph winds crews could not make an interior attack. After knocking down the bulk of the fire with the wagon pipe, E-7s crew went to work pulling hose and hooking ceilings. E-7 crew worked on the scene for about 3 hours. Rescue Engine 7 went on the scene in 8 minutes to find a 4 door sedan with 2 still trapped. The Crew from RE-7 and the driver of RS-1 from K.G. extricated both patients in under 15 minutes. One patient was air lifted by Air Care II and the other was transported by ground. RE-7 was on the scene until 1744. The ceremony was lead by Chief Kevin Roberson and our guest speakers were Stafford County's Sheriff Charles Jett a life time resident of White Oak and Stafford County Fire and Rescue's Assistant Chief Carter. All the members would like to say thank you to our Ladies Auxiliary for their hard work for these event. A special thank you to Kilenski's Catering for a great meal, and Mark Hall for the music that rocked to the early morning. K-7 went out the door with 2 volunteers to 7781 Passapatanzy Dr. Once they arrived on the scene fireman from Co.7 and 1 from Stafford put out the fire and checked the structure for extension. Units cleared the scene at 1030 hours. Rescue Engine 7 went out the door with 4 volunteers, Rescue 1 arrived on the scene to find one vehicle overturned and three patients that had been ejected. RE-7 arrived next and deployed a hand line and crew went to work packaging 2 out of the 3 patients, the third was D.O.A. Co.1. and 7 units were held for extensive amount of time do to the investigation. Mon, 20 Sep 2010 12:33:45 GMT http://www.whiteoakfire.com/apps/public/news/newsView.cfm?News_ID=13 First Due House http://www.whiteoakfire.com/apps/public/news/newsView.cfm?News_ID=12 At 2048 hours the house bells went off for a house fire in box area 0700 at 32 Foundation Dr. E-7 went out the door with 5 volunteers along with Tanker 7 with 2 and Chief 7. As the units were enroute the E.C.C. advised that there was possibly three subjects still inside the resident. The engine went on the scene 6 minutes later with a 2 story SFD approximately 5000sq ft. with heavy fire showing from the Bravo side. The crew from Engine 7 was advised that two occupants were on the rear deck and one occupant was still inside. The crew advanced a 2" line inside and proceed to search for the missing occupant. They located the subject on the second floor and assisted him outside. Falmouth arrived and pulled a back up line and assisted Engine 7 crew with fire attack until they ran out of water. At this time Chief 7 (command) made the decision to take it to a defensive attack do to the loss of water. All units worked well on the fire ground, many units were on scene throughout the night. The tanker responed with 2 men. While responding Engine 6 marked on scene within 5 minutes and advised a working fire from the basement and charlie division. Tanker 7 arrived on scene 20 minutes into the call and started shuttling water. While the tanker was doing water shuttles Engine 7's crew was transferd to Falmouth to cover the south end with a crew of six. While at Station 1 Engine 7's crew split into two crews and staffed E-1B. Within minutes of staffing Falmouth's second engine communications dispatched Engine 7 to 1108 College Ave in the City of Fredericksburg for a house fire. Engine 7 arrived second and established a water supply for Fredericksburg Engine 2 while the crew went to work. Engine 1B then transfered to Station 12 (Berea). Tanker 7 cleared at 1959hrs and was transfered to Co.1 to cover the south end with E-1B. Tanker 7 went out the door. First arriving units where met with heavy fire conditions. The tanker went on the scene and went to work shuttling water until the fire was under control. At 1412 hours the tones dropped for a tanker task force for the house fire at 317 Norman Rd. in Wide Water Co.3s first due. Do to the amount of personnel on the scene the tanker was used for water supply operations. At 1435 April 6th the E.C.C. Dispatched Co.7 for the house fire at 100 Boundary Dr. in Co.8s first due. Out the door went the Engine and Tanker with 4 personnel. Due to the amount of apparatus on the scene the Engine was to transfer to co.14 for the fill in. Once on the scene the tanker was utilized for water supply operations again. After about 2 hours the Engine was asked to transfer to station 9. Engine 7 responded with 5 personnel and the Chief. Chief 7 arrived on scene in two minutes and established White Oak Road Command. After doing a size up of the scene, Command held with Engine 7, Medic 7, and Medic 11. The Engine cleared two hours later after Virginia State finished their investigation. The MSU and Rescue Boat 7 went out the door with 4 volunteers. Due to the location of the jumper Co.7 units were to stage at the City Docks. Crew's from around the county worked hard to bring the jumper to safety. At 1535 hours Stafford County's E.C.C. put out a River Rescue Box in the Rappahannock River for a man that cap sized his boat. Bringing the MSU and Rescue Boat 7 with 4 Volunteers leaving back a crew to staff the Engine. After a long search the boater was not found, Company 7 crew where on scene about 2 hours. This law prohibits burning before 4 p.m. each day (Feb. 15 - April 30) if the fire is in, or within 300 feet of, woodland, brushland or fields containing dry grass or other flammable materials. A violation of this law is a Class 3 misdemeanor punishable by up to a $500 fine. In addition to the criminal violation, those who allow a fire to escape are liable for the cost of suppressing the fire as well as any damage caused to others' property. Engine 7 got out the door quickly with 4 volunteers. E-7 went on the scene at the corrected address of 160 Brooke Rd. with a 2 story single family with nothing showing. As Engine 7's crew were advancing a line to the front door Rescue 1s crew took first due special service responsibility with the primary, crews found the fire on the second floor and work together to bring it under control.
