At 20:38 hours Stafford County Communications dispatched a residential fire at 15 Jefferson St. Chief 1 marked on scene with a two story wood frame structure; with light smoke showing from the second floor. Engine 1 arrived; pulled a 1-3/4" line to the second floor and extinguished the fire. Engine 7 arrived second due; established water supply and pulled the backup line. One occupant was located in the front yard and all searches of the structure proved negative.
